Sorry phone rang and started work early!

A bump and a bang we stopped saw it behind us cautiosly restarted engine lots of vibration at low revs slight performance reduction at cruising.

 

Not nice when you have portland race between you and home!

 

Only damage was to the prop- i guess as we were on the plain it went down the hull and caught the leg.

Bet that made the ass twitch !!!!! Do u recon these are dumped in the rivers and float down or come off the side of ships ?

Its shipping containers that I'd fear most - Ive heard they can have a nasty habit of floating just under the surface! I'm sure Pete told me of a Charter boat that hit one once, ripping out the front bulkhead.....

There's a sunken boat in Holes Bay inside the channel.

Jacqui was at the helm and got a bit close. It's just below the surface so you can't see it until you're on top of it.
