Coddy Posted July 24, 2013 Report Posted July 24, 2013 I recieved this from Harbour Watch: We have received a new claim for a Boston Whaler that has been reported stolen from a swinging mooring in Poole. The boat is a 1989 15ft Boston Whaler called ‘4-Play’ with a 90hp Yamaha on the back, it was last seen on Thursday 18 July 2013 when the client used it, when they came back to the boat on Saturday to use it again, it wasn’t there. Can you circulate this email for me please and see if there might be any witnesses/leads? If anyone saw any thing or sees this craft please contact the Police. Dave Quote

Coddy Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 Please keep a look out for a white Mercedes Minibus with tinted windows index GOP 650 (foreign plate) seen in suspicious circumstances near boats on trailers at Christchurch on 20th July. The van contained 3 males, believed foreign nationals and when challenged by member of public they left. If seen please ring 999 (if believed crime in action) or 101 Regards Tristan Oliver Marine Section Poole Quote
Coddy Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 Scott Lindsay found guilty at court last week of breaking into a boat at Parkstone Yacht Club moorings last September. He was sentenced to 12 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months. That means if he is found guilty of another similar offence in next 12 months, he should automatically get a 12 week prison sentence plus sentence for new offence. Only a matter of time I suspect. Coddy Posted July 27, 2013 Author Report Posted July 27, 2013 The tender was stolen between 1900 on Wed 17th and 10.00 Sat 20th. from the bank opposite the Priory. It is a Grey hull with Green gunwale with a white rubber inset. It was marked on the transom B28. It was not seen to go past RYC CCTv so we must assume it is upriver or removed by road. Quote
