Warrior 165

I am currently looking for second hand Warrior 165 package (Boat/ Engine/ Trailer) possibly about 2002 to 2006/7. I am watching Boats & Outboards and E-bay but if anyone hear's of one for sale locally then please e-mail me at - alanjeffries@talktalk.net

Fantastic choice of boat, what sort of budget?

 

I'd recommend 70hp as it won't be working hard and will be very economical.

Ensure you go out on one, they are BiG! I think many are surprised how big compared to other 15 / 16 ft boats.

Big enough to require a braked trailer...and that brings extra looking after....if you trail.

Fantastic boat @ 16½ feet.

Yes you need a braked trailer but if you have one with a flushing system for the brakes it's not a problem.

I sold mine because I'm old and fat and with my dodgy knees, it was a bit too heavy for me to push around on the trailer.

As Brian said, you need a decent engine. Don't let anyone tell you a 50 is big enough - - - it's not. You need a 70 to 80 so you can cruise without working the engine.

They must be the most poular boat of their size in this country and with good reason.

Oh yes - - - and Warrior aftersales and help are first class.

Only problem is its in South Wales

I went to Holyhead to pick up Tiddler.

We just made a weekend of it and called it a treat for Jacqui

It's just miles - - - - - with a decent car, miles are not a problem.

Have you seen this? In Blandford, so might be worth a look.

Almost the same as a Warrior 165, only a 50hp motor but at the right price, you could trade the motor in for something bigger if required.
