I am currently looking for second hand Warrior 165 package (Boat/ Engine/ Trailer) possibly about 2002 to 2006/7. I am watching Boats & Outboards and E-bay but if anyone hear's of one for sale locally then please e-mail me at - alanjeffries@talktalk.net

Thanks Alan (Dainichi)

P.s. Would be grateful for any advice etc on the 165.

Hi Alan

Fantastic choice of boat, what sort of budget?

I'd recommend 70hp as it won't be working hard and will be very economical.

If you want a look at mine or see how it goes and handles let me know.

Fantastic boat @ 16½ feet.

Yes you need a braked trailer but if you have one with a flushing system for the brakes it's not a problem.

I sold mine because I'm old and fat and with my dodgy knees, it was a bit too heavy for me to push around on the trailer.

As Brian said, you need a decent engine. Don't let anyone tell you a 50 is big enough - - - it's not. You need a 70 to 80 so you can cruise without working the engine.

They must be the most poular boat of their size in this country and with good reason.

Oh yes - - - and Warrior aftersales and help are first class.

I went to Holyhead to pick up Tiddler.

We just made a weekend of it and called it a treat for Jacqui :D

It's just miles - - - - - with a decent car, miles are not a problem. ;)

Hi Alan

If you could increase your budget I have a 2009 warrior with a 70:hp Suzuki plus 5:hp auxiliary on a indispention rollercoaster trailer for sale

Steve

That's exactly like mine Alan (same year, same engines etc.). Do you a treat if the price is right.
