Steve L
Hi All. I have just joined the club and look forward to meeting and speaking with you all. I have an interest in boats but absolutely no experience of owning or operating one and this combined with very little experience of sea fishing sets me quite a challenge. I will be attending the monthly club evening and hope to meet some of you there. regards Steve Stuie, charlieannear and Brian

charlieannear
Steve, you are exactly where I was when I joined the club. You've made an excellent decision! iansimpson63
iansimpson63
Hello Steve, As long as you have an open mind and ask for advice, the inexperience will be overcome easily. Keep an eye on the forums for people wanting crew and tell them you are a novice. I have received a lot of help (even Stuie and Neal almost made sense) and enjoyed some enjoyable days on the water. Mal Thomas
Welcome Steve L. Good luck with your new boating experiences, dont forget to get some training before you set off . The club will give you good advice. Have a safety check and get a vhf license. Enjoy. Steve L
iansimpson63
Hello Mal, I am meeting Steve on Wednesday to have a talk about sea fishing for beginners, nice and basic before he gets to talk to the more experienced at club meetings. Steve doesn't have a boat (yet) but I will let him know of the support he can get from the club Safety Officer, if and when he gets a boat. I think Neal is going to propose you for the role, especially now you are a media star. I was thinking of running a similar rugby course "tactics for international coaches that currently only have one game plan". I believe there is a fair bit of interest over the Severn Bridge. iansimpson63
Sorry about the rugby bit, I have been getting sh!t for 2 years from my welsh mates and they were ramping it up prior to the match. I don't normally take the piss but I had to this year, honest.
