iansimpson63 Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 I would like to crew for somebody as my boat is only suited to within the harbour. Neal is also available and we make a decent double act as well as reasonable ballast. Quote

Mike Fox Posted April 17, 2015 Report Posted April 17, 2015 Have been chatting with Kev, and he's a bit concerned at driving down tomorrow if the competition is going to be cancelled later in the day. Others have bait etc to get. The current inshore forecast for tomorrow has E/NE F5/7 on the inshore, and the outlook for Sunday is currently showing E/NE F6/7 decreasing 4/5 later in the day. Could I request an early "call" please on whether it's on, or will be deferred? Thanks, Mike Quote

Neal Posted April 18, 2015 Author Report Posted April 18, 2015 All the forecasts I have checked suggest 10 Knots North Easterly - gusting 11 to 14 Knots - reducing during the day. The large tides probably mean its not worth going far offshore anyway So for a species dabble it's OK Have fun and stay safe Neal Rob 1 Quote
