He Hated it so I pressed the " magic button " to restore it back to windows 8 as it came out of the shop. Guess what . . . . Windows 10 had screwed that up so it took me ages to get it running on windows 8 again. Let me see . . . . . . Microsoft?. . . . . . .Free? They must be up to something ! Rob Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 7 & 10 are similar Jim 8 is really for tablet style / touch screen laptops. If he was used to 8 then 10 would be weird. But 7 to 10 is ok. P.s. Don't ever bother with an "upgrade" always go for a fresh install of 10. Short term pain.......... Quote
