plaicemat
I posed the question some time ago, nobody seems to know. Rob, it's on the p.c., not mobile. Just tried again, the smiley was inserted but it wouldn't post.

Rob
I was about to post - don't bother with edge! It is very bad!!! I have installed IE 11 instead- better still, install Google Chrome. Edge has all sorts of issues with webmail & numerous websites.

plaicemat
I have no problems with other mediums but I use and at present like Edge. Presumably everyone will eventually get up to speed with the new Microsoft operating system.

Jim
I put Windows 10 on my Brother's Laptop. He Hated it so I pressed the " magic button " to restore it back to windows 8 as it came out of the shop. Guess what . . . . Windows 10 had screwed that up so it took me ages to get it running on windows 8 again. Let me see . . . . . . Microsoft?. . . . . . .Free? They must be up to something ! I'll stay with Windows 7 thanks. gjb
Rob
7 & 10 are similar Jim 8 is really for tablet style / touch screen laptops. If he was used to 8 then 10 would be weird. But 7 to 10 is ok. P.s. Don't ever bother with an "upgrade" always go for a fresh install of 10. Short term pain..........
