Sole

I am toying with the idea of having a go for the sole Friday night has anyone heard or had any luck on them this year or am i too early any feed back would be great

I've had my best nights sole fishing this time of the year but you need an overcast night/ no full moon otherwise it's hard going

Will probably be out on Friday night about 6.00 pm. untill late. We may try for a sole or go for mullet and a gilt head with with some sort of rockling as a bonus depending on light and conditions.

Well because of work and all the other dull bits I will try and get out on Saturday night hope that the weather holds and spend the whole night having a go

As a tip, use Nordic bend hooks on your rig and your catch rate will increase. I have also found that dusk is the best time for catching sole.

Had a great night 1 of the sole was about a foot or more long

There's quite a few about at this time of year.
