Had a nice relaxed day aboard Free Spirit with Graham (Bramble banker) and we started by motoring around to Dancing Ledge. Although the sea state was lovely as forecasted, that flippin' easterly wasn't, and before long we'd dug out the extra layers we had with us and I was shivering until I found my nice warm fleece hat, last seen December 2014...

We had a slow time, but found the target species at least. My biggest was 1lb 2oz, and Graham's was of a similar size.

Off to Ballard at slack, in time for the sun to come out, and the layers to come off. Didn't get a single bite there, but I did have a little kip in the sunshine!

A blast in the Pirate 21 back to Cobbs, then over to the Liberal Club for the PSAC weigh-in. Well done to Andy for organising, and for the grub, and to the PBSBAC members who took home the lions share of the prizes.

Just been on a cruise to the Canaries.

Whilst there we were watching one of the evening shows and looked over my shoulder to see a couple from Poole who used to run Lytchet camp site. . . . well blow me down.
