Kathryn
Hello We have an SBS R2-750 trailer. Size 390cm x 144cm x 83cm 4 sets of rollers (16 rollers) Galvanised steel and in very good condition. Wondered if anyone would give us an idea of price to sell it please? Unfortunately I am unable to attach any photos. Thanks. Jim

Kathryn
Thank you for posting the pics! What price is a fair price for this trailer?
Jim
I've seen some on fleabay similar looking for about £750 ish ish ish . . . . . Maybe quite a bit less. It's all down to someone wanting it at the time you advertise it. Good luck. Jim
Death Trap II
yes, my experience is that a "rational price" is zero, because the amount the purchaser will have to spend on replacing everything means you may as well spend a few more quid and get a brand new trailer! But thankfully nothing about boating is rational. But cast your net wide and wait for someone who needs it to come along. If you can sit on it for a while, list it on ebay, but not as an auction, and what for the right buyer to come along for about £750. But you can mitigate this by checking all the components and list their state of repair on the sale listing. An example would be to look at the 'disposable' parts. Are the tires ok? are they less than 10 years old (at which point they have to be replaced by law), is the winch working and lubrcated? is the hitch functioning? Jim
Can't see from the photo: Does it have bearing savers? They're the "sticking out bit" See photo. Are you able to raise the trailer and spin the wheels? If they're quiet the bearings are probably good. If they rumble they're probably not. ( Even good ones will make a slight noise) Have you thought of listing on boats & outboards ?
Kathryn
Hello Thank you for the great advice and insight and where to list. I will check the state of the trailer and include in the listings. Kind regards Jim
