Maverick Martin Posted June 3, 2005 Report Posted June 3, 2005 Jack I have had a quotation for pennants/burgees and this item will be discussed at the next meeting Martin Quote
jack Posted June 4, 2005 Author Report Posted June 4, 2005 Martin,I was'nt intending to apply pressure,I realize things are in hand re penants, I just happened to find this on the net,and as my grandson had just shown me how to do it,I thought I would be "flash" and have a little practice at transferring things from one place to another,I have no-where else to try it [aint it bloody sad ]..Jack Quote
Bob F Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 You have to admit, the yellow on red does stand out well. BF Quote

I still think it would be good to have a 'defaced' standard pennant with a logo or initials of some sort on it. If they can print a T shirt foe a few bob doing a pennant should be cheap enough. Adam F Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 I would rather have a blue penant with the club logo - I dont think I would bother if it was the yellow and red one.... Quote
Newboy Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Blue backgound with club logo probably won't stand out too much in the blue sky, how about another colour. Quote
Adam F Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 Blue against a grey sky will be ok...that seems to be the norm!! Quote
Newboy Posted June 4, 2005 Report Posted June 4, 2005 That's true... there's only ever blue sky when everyone are tied up in work and couldn't go out. Quote
