what is the max worpiece size?

It's a 3018

Which means it's 30 x 18 Centimetres nominal.

It's actually just shy of that.

This is it machining a clock out of Oak.

This software not included but various free or paid software available online.

that is a really good price tiddler, and i am really keen to get one, but that is too small for me. I need a 50cm by 40cm work piece capacity as a minimum.

A case of what else are you hoping to get for Christmas Jim, that looks like a nice machine, what is the biggest slabs you can level? I guess 6090 model may mean 600x900 mm?   I am getting into wood a bit now, I bought a Sawmill last year.   Regards. Colin.

You don't do it by half do you Colin?

Yes 600 x 900 Nominal.

Slightly less than that actual.

Plus the 4th axis for rotary carving.

but to be honest, the way prices for walnut are going, you would probably do nicely if you decided to rustle a few trees in the dead of night.

Mike, I bought it from Jim but had trouble with software etc etc (probably just me being a numpty) but haven't had time to try again getting it set up. Would pass it on for what I paid if you're interested.
