The website was down for a few hours last week. Today I noticed some posts and photos are missing.

I've told Mark about it and I'm awaiting his take on it.

Some of the missing photos/posts are photo of the month for December.

That is interesting Steve, as I tried to upload a photo Yesterday in my Post and it would not upload. It gave Server Error Code 200 as the reason.

Hope this helps.

We can recover most of the missing data, however we will lose everything since the 12th, so on balance, I think we just repost anything missing and is worth reposting. I'll repost the December photo of the month.

What happened:  there was an outage to SSD drive hosting where our website was sitting ( I assume due to a fault). They rolled back to an older backup, it now appears much older, there was a more recent back they didn't use, don't know why. We (Mark and I) didn't appreciate they had rolled back a number of days.

I think your error Greg is something else, try it again.

I've reposted my bits including a couple of photos, the photos posted ok Greg.

Photo of the month for December in now reinstated, however, the only photo now showing is the one of Alun Jones under the polar bear. For any other photos please repost as I don't have copies.

I don't think the site is allowing new members to register.  I have registered the last two and have had another state he couldn't register but then never forwarded me his details for me to register.  Maybe when you next converse with Mark you could mention this

There was a reCAPTCHA problem for someone trying to register, Mark has generated new keys and it's fixed now.

He is going to try to find out if this is a regular problem, ie one we can anticipate and generate new keys before expiry.
