lady jane Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 whilst reading the storytellers report from alderney he refers to exact miles travelled, can somebody advise how you know what miles you have done during the day ? thank you, andy Quote
Adam F Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Most GPS navigators have a trip function on them. Use as you would in a car - obviously they also take into account any driting, but they give a pretty good approximation. Quote
Maverick Martin Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Andy Most plotters have a log which will record miles covered, remember its miles covered not necessarily miles motored. Most inboard engines also have an array of dials on the dashboard one of which is the engine log this records engine hours. Martin Quote
