Adam F Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 (edited) Well she has been sat on the drive for 2 weeks and hasnt been wet yet - but it is drawing close - Sat with any luck The postman must be p$$sed off with me and goodies have been arriving daily from across the globe - it's been like Christmas! The prop came back from prop revs today, Bob F sorted another small issue with the VHF so we now have full DSC and all the toys are now fitted to the dash. Deckwash, livebait tank, a load of S/S and a canopy to fit and we will be fully up and running! Piccy showing 10.5" colour plotter, colour FF and Icom VHF all ready to go... Bob F Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 ...and a very smart looking boat she is, too. Quote
Paul J Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Looks Sweet Adam, put me on the crewing list PJ Quote
Paul D Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Looking very nice Adam, especially like the surround around the steering column. I will be down Wick on Saturday adjusting my new trailer. Maybe see you down there. Quote
Adam F Posted February 28, 2007 Author Report Posted February 28, 2007 I need to adjust my trailer also, but I also want to have some high speed runs, so will be opting for Baiter... Quote
duncan Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 extremely smart Adam - the purists might question the position of the compass but on balance I think I would have done exactly the same in your shoes. I had enough space for the compass to be in front of the instruments and visible between them (just!) Quote
Newboy Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 It's a fantastic lay out, a you need now is some pb fish. Quote
great white Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Looking great mate Hope the first trip goes well. Charlie Quote
alun j. Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 Well done Adam........ it's looking 'sorted'. Are you planning to wet a line on Sat? Deb's away for the day, so I was looking at options for fishing. Wind is forecast in the West and a bit fresh!........ I wonder if there's a chance of an early plaice in the Swash? Alun. PS. there'll be plenty of water at Baiter, with a morning HW. Would you like a hand with launch/retrieve?? ........have you got crew? I'll bring a camera for a few pics. Quote
Adam F Posted March 2, 2007 Author Report Posted March 2, 2007 Not fishing I'm afraid - wedding planning is now begining to ramp up and I only have a few hours free in the morning, so purely play time only! Gordon is coming down to help out, but you are also more than welcome, esp. if you are fishing anyway - some on water shots would be good? Quote
duncan Posted March 2, 2007 Report Posted March 2, 2007 If the weather plays ball Adam I might be available for a 'photoshoot' for you. Current plans have me down in Poole and the boats in the water........... What time do you have in mind? Will load the camera gear in the car anyway. Quote
