Small Fry is Hoping to get out on Sunday.Out of Poole with Jim & Simon on board.

Anyone got any Ideas on what, where, with what, to catch some fish.

Anyone fancy buddying up?

Hoping to launch at Baiter @ 8.30 ish.

Looking at the reports, I think your where and what questions are fairly academic. With several of the Poole charter fleet going east, I think that should help your choice. wink.gif

If you see a Warrior Bouncing across the sea, Give us a Wave.

I'd better go and buy some Squid then !

Thanks Lads.

Martin,

We are heading out on Neo on Saturday ( Lymington launch ). Forecast states sea state slight and wind is NNE, so hoping for some shelter from the island.

Going to be cold though !

Give me a call and I will let you know how many cod we have smile.gif

Latest outlook for sunday is wacko.gif

Wind Northerly 3 or 4, increasing 6 to gale 8, perhaps severe gale 9 for a time.

Sea state Moderate or rough becoming very rough or high.

Weather Wintry showers, sleet for a time.

Visibility Moderate or good, occasionally poor.

So looks like awol will be staying out the water again weep.gif

Good call mate

Nothing about being soft Jim its about having the sense to know when its better to be wise before going out and stay safe ashore.

We all love fishing, but it can be too risky going out on days like today.

Better to keep the fuel and bait for a nicer day.

Very wise decision Jim.

Saturday was fine but the forecast was for increasing wind / rain from the east in the afternoon.

As we could see the weather front approaching from the east and the wind was increasing we left early at 1PM and was certainly the right choice.

Also, much easier going out from Lymington as we had wind with tide all the way back, I certainly would not want to have been punching my way back to Christchurch or Poole.

Due to offshore wind though conditions off the Needles were quite fishable, but today I wouldn't have wanted to be out there.
