Adam F Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 This Sunday is the PBSBAC Xmas Fayre which is basically a flounder comp held in Poole hardour (or further afield if you so wish!) best specimen flounder walks away with a Christmas Hamper. All entrants need to book in either here or with me by phone before the comp. Fishing times are 8am to 3pm with a weigh in at Baiter afterwards, the scales will close at 4pm sharp, no fish will be counted after this time. The forecast is looking a little iffy but as the comp is in the harbour, unless it is dangerous the comp will likely go ahead. Post here is you wish to fish: Quote

Gazza Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 Am i correct in thinking that comp is only open to club member only and not forum members ? reb Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Both Mike and I have been given permission to fish! . If you see Janski II anywhere in the harbour I suggest you try elsewhere - I am never in the right place at the right time If anyone else is looking for a fishless day with no boat to go on I have room for one - give me a bell on 07871164377 if you fancy it Cheers, Richard. Rob Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Terry - I think that is OK, I may be wrong but I think the 2 perople rule is more about safety than witnessing a catch. Rob Quote
Paul D Posted December 13, 2008 Report Posted December 13, 2008 Rob, You are correct. 2 people in boat but not necessary for both to be club members ( although you have to be a club member to fish the comp. ) Quote
