This Sunday is the start of the PBSBAC comp calender. The format for Sunday is species hunt, so simply go out, bag a load of different species and report them to me - easy!

As per the club rules, please register here, by phone, in person or carrier pigeon if you want to fish!

Hi all

Don't forget to report what species you all caught so I can update the boat species list. Might be useful if I knew which boat you were on as well! ohmy.gif

Frisky is due to launch Saturday morning, and is in desperate need of a good scrub on deck, after a winter of grit-blasting to remove 20 years of antifoul, and being ashore for 5 months in a dusty boatyard. Insurance survey is now complete and she's fit to go.

With a bit of luck, it might be fully rigged and ready late Saturday, but I like to check all systems properly on the water, before sallying forth in earnest.

The crew is also revolting. Something about being back to work from Carol and last day to see a certain lady friend from George, so can't commit as yet.

Would be tragic if the boat's all ready and the crew don't want to play!

Will have to confirm later ...and for comp rules I think I need 2 aboard?

Hi all

I hope you all are taking your cameras as we could do with some new pictures of club members boats.

On a safety note, it looks like if there will be a number of club boats out let alone some of the rag & stick brigade. ohmy.gif (Sorry Mike wink.gif )

Please keep a good eye out for boats using you as a transit point and keep a listen on channel 16 + 6, most VHF sets have dual watch.

If you feel something is not right don't take any chances, a fish is not worth risking life or boat for.

If you need help do give a call out for any PBSBC members and I am sure someone will respond.

Take care and enjoy the day, I am looking forward to seeing the reports so don't forget to print off a score sheet, get one here http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/score.xls

For new members: If you copy the score sheet posted by coddy and on your return fill in the sheet it will automatically calculate your score. You can then forward the copleted form onto Adam the fish recorder.

Good luck to all those fishing

Martin
