Member Removed
Hello again everybody, Thanks for the warm welcome received at last nights meeting. After chatting to Martin , he suggested that I place this post, to see if anybody out there is willing to show an absolute novice at boating and sea fishing, a few rudimentries. I am available pretty much anytime, and at short notice if you need a hand. my aim , of course, is to get my own boat, so if you hear of anything, please let me know. Thanks for reading Mike I dont know if phone numbers are allowed so I wont risk it, but it would certainly be useful if somebody wanted to get hold of me quickly. perhaps somebody will let me know. Jim
I don't have time to scratch my bum at the moment, but if I go out and have a space, I'll pm ( personal message ) you. ( Not that you'll learn much from me though ) Jim
great white
Hi Mike It is up to you if you are happy to put phone Numbers on the forum I sometimes add my mobile to a post, but not my home No. Regards getting afloat, best idea is keep an eye on the forums, all of us ask at some time to see who is up for a trip. My advice there is take it easy at first and build up experiance and some sea legs. with a few inshore trips in decent weather. jumping in to a 12 hr wrecking/rips trip may be a bit too much. Have fun Tight lines Charlie

TomBettle
jumping in to a 12 hr wrecking/rips trip may be a bit too much. It will be if you get out on Charlie's boat, "Alfresco", as your arms will have been pulled out of their sockets by all the fish. Welcome to the Club Mike. Adam F
Mike, Pop a little bit of info on here with regards to any experiance you have, and what you'd like to go for.... I only ask as it will help skippers to offer as trip. You'll welcome on JV anytime, but a bit of info will help we select a suitable type of trip. Once youve done that I'll drop you a PM and see if we can get a few hours on midweek afternoon? Adam
Member Removed
Hi, In reply to Adams Post, I dont think I can add very much. The few times I have been boat fishing , in the North sea, I have been seasick, which is annoying to say the least, cos I love fresh fish and I love the sport, which is why I have been a coarse angler for 50 years. Now I have retired to Poole, I would like to have the chance to be able to sea fish on a regular basis. I am very active, love DIY ( had to, to afford a house down here :-) ) can turn my hand to most things, am a good conversationalist, good (some say wicked)sense of humour, and a quick and eager learner. Hope that gives you a bit more of an insight into this minnow bashing yorkshireman , and dont believe everything you hear. as some of us are nearly human. Look forward to hearing from you.
