Jim Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 I have looked in the usual places, but can't find results for the Flatty comp. Went up to Coventry on Saturday to see my Grand Kids. Stayed at a mate's in Stratford and took a leisurely drive back through the Cotswolds, stopping for Sunday Lunch in a quiet little pub. It was all very nice. But Monday lunch was my first chance to look for results. Did the comp go ahead? Was it won by anyone we know? and ..... and .... Jim Quote
Graham Nash Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 I am suprised nothing has been written as I saw lots and lots of boats out in the harbour fishing on Sunday. I had a little paddle out on a yak in the afternoon and spoke with a couple of crews on board boats who had become very frustrated at drowning worms for the day. Maybe everyone blanked and no one wants to be the first to say Quote
rich Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 There certainly does'nt seem to be to many about. I fished for a few hours at Ham beach this morning and managed to catch one. It appeared that five other guys fishing along the prom. all blanked. A lot of the flounders caught Sunday were released at Cobbs Quay... perhaps that's were we should be looking. Rich Quote
