Thanks all. Took a load of cakes into work yesterday. Went for a few beers wiv me bruvver last night. Struggled to work this morning. Steve & Theresa brought the Grand kids over this afternoon with a " special cake " No Rob not THAT special ! I don't need any of that stuff . . . I'm already Dopey enough THIS special . . . . .

A very big thank you to Allan G, Dave L. and Dave S for coming to my rescue today. Coming into the quay in the 6 knot limit Marichelle suddenly surged to full power, I dropped her out of gear but engine still running at high speed, luckily it did turn off with key! Dave S called Allan who came back and kindly towed us back to Cobbs, engine started and was running correctly, but got her towed to pontoon in case the same thing happened again! Any ideas chaps, gonna get vodia machine plugged in anyway but just wondered if anyone has heard of this problem before ? Thanks again boys !!!

Fisheagle Species Comp. Results. Unfortunately only Allan and Jan fished due to Dave's late withdrawal. Fishing was hard work and the weather very mixed. Several moves on the Patch gave only one wrasse and a couple of other species. The secret ray mark saved the day with 18 dogfish, three rays, a tiny whiting and a small turbot and brill. Jan was beating me by 6 species to seven until the last ten minutes until my tiny spinner and small worm on a size 10 hook caught me a little bass, so the scores were seven each. Total boat species 11. Jan dog small eyed plaice pollack Ballan turbot bass Total 7. Allan dog undulate small eyed whiting pouting brill bass Total 7.
