Interesting but I don't think it will catch on. It would be a nightmare fo repair if damaged. Most of the Big Outboard manufacturers are now selling duo prop type motors. Contra rotating props are very efficient. Admittedly only on the very large motors but I feel it will not be long before we see duo props on smaller models. In the future maybe even two speed gearboxes. I changed to a stainless steel prop on the old Orkney and the performance and fuel efficiency gain was dramatic. Mikey B

I have been sponsored the hire of the social club in the hope off getting as many people from the boating community to attend as possible. The idea behind this is to start to break down barriers, the evening will be a fun relaxed environment where I intend to have as many people there as possible from all walks of the boat world from Dorset. Re: we have a deal? Fraid not Paul, I have a Targa 31 already. I was giving some objective views as a Targa owner based on what I saw on the photos and text. I love my Targa, they are expensive but work really well in our waters, they are well designed and made from quality materials so stand the test of time.

Some have asked what I've been doing in retirement. Well, I applied for a building permit for a new house. It was going to be 100 ft. tall and 400 ft. wide, with 12 gun turrets at various heights, and windows all over the place and a loud outside entertainment sound system. It would have parking for 200 cars and I was going to paint it green with pink trim. Then I was gonna hire some idiot to stand on top of it and SCREAM as loud as he could three or four times a day. The City Council told me; Forget it...AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN! So, I sent in the application again, but this time I called it a "Mosque." Work starts on Monday.
