Boat is stuck at Rockley Still so I'm having to resort to some shore fishing. Seems I can still hold my own. Not bad as I was fishing for flatties!

When we were in Poole haven a few years ago they had a leak. They checked every boat in the marina at no cost to owners. They were very good and sorted the problem. I think you should lobby the management at Cobbs to get things sorted before someone gets an expensive bill for damage caused by the leak.

Used to get the same at F17 Brian, it all started about 4 years ago, it seemed to start after EXTRA electrical sockets were added to F pontoon!! That's why I added 2 more onto my rudder to combat the problem.

The anode on my outboard mounting bracket doesn't usually show much corrosion when MegaByte is on F166, where none of the boats are connected to the electricity. Spent 3 months on F33 where several boats near me were connected and this is the result.

The Mack's are still thin on the ground, I tried repeatedly on Monday in various places and didn't get one. The May rot is somewhat patchy, nowhere I saw was clear, some places quite dense. Lures are still working but not as well as in clearer water. It will be interesting to get a report from someone who has been fishing somewhat offshore. There are a few bass around now. A trawler has been working off Southborne for plaice. A charter tried for them on Monday had 10, all small.
