    I did make a claim and they were great. I don't think the price went up as a result but it may have done a little. 👍

    I used Porthcawl for ten years while I had a boat. Never a problem and never a big cost increase. Never made a claim though. Very approachable and easy to use.

    Another one for Portcawl, been with them for years, sometimes stays the same, sometimes comes down, never known an increase until I upgraded. Terry.

    Porthcawl for our boat as well,never had to claim . very easy to fill out form online.

    Let them know you are thinking of leaving Trev and see what they offer. If it is not a good offer, move. I had the same a few years back, mine had always matched Porthcawl price when asked, then suddenly decided not to. It was very easy to move to Porthcawl and I must say that I am happy that I did.

    i am with ceta, mine went up my £20. Insurance companies are boarderline crooks. They have algorithms to try on price increases with customers that they suspect will pay without question. They have worked out that is how they can maximize their profits, even if a percentage of customers don't renew. Sometimes you have to just leave.
