Yes I did the same and I guess I'll never use it. Anyone want a 240 volt polisher? It looks like a 9 inch angle grinder but it's much slower. It's free. Just bung a couple of those "coin of the realm" things to the NCI at the next meeting or something like that. Jim

If Darren failed to polish it out it could be staining in the gellcoat Try giving Marty Cobb a call, 07860 200220 He is one of the best GRP repair guys around, but he is usually very busy

Getting someone to do the job for you as Martin does, would probably work out cheaper than wrapping

Terry, I have an electric polishing mop you can have. It is mains powered though so not sure about safety rules or availability of 240 volts. Although yours is dry stacked so could be lifted onto a safe place to work on it.

If it's just discolouration G3 cutting paste followed with a good polish then wax along with plenty of elbow grease. Apply G3 sparingly and use a random orbital polishing machine. Keep the surface wet and do not allow the gelcoat to get warm/friction burns. When the gel looks ok apply polish and the orbital polishing machine then finish off with hand applied and buffed up wax. Thats what I used to do with Awol's blue hull. I now have a tendency to pay others to save my sore arms Apparently, she does a very good job
