    2022 695 series 2 with 150 outboard with a mooring at Portland. Im trying to get him to wait till he's been to the boatshow but he's being unusually impulsive.

    Stand on a Merry fisher Marlin then stand on a Barracuda7 They look very similar but the Barracuda7 is FAR less tippy. And not sure but I think the doorway is a tad higher. I bumped my head going inside on the Marlin but not the Barracuda.

    The Marlin has the better cockpit for fishing and a side aisle for access to the Anchor no climbing, very important in my book.

    Jeanneau I believe do two versions of the Merry Fisher 695. The cruiser which I believe has a larger cabin area and less cockpit or the Marlin which has the larger cockpit. Both are based on the same hull which should serve well for fishing. Mal has one

    Not sure if you are aware but you can wash you boat down after use. Maybe you need better crew!!!! R
