  9. we had a customer this week end with his new second hand boat ,this was his first launch,we suggested running up the outboard on the hose first which he agreed, outboard would only run at 2000 rpm and above easy fix butterflys sticking wd 40 spray no good ,so air cleaner of wd 40 at the ready opps 6mm bolt stuck on the throttle spindle one little wave outboard eats bolt end of outboard ,moral of this story count all the bits, good luck.

    making a trailer

Hi dan ,many years ago i built a boat trailer from a RSJ s from a scrap yard, this was built for a 18 ft ply boat.I found that the keel rollers fitted inside the rsj and the axles the same i think it was about 6inch by 4 inch it was about 1/4 inch thick all joints were welded and bolted ( i could weld then ) i had it two years and it lasted longer than the boat did.Only down side was its weight not much good for long trips ,if i remember you dont have far to go.good luck
  12. try the scrap yard down nuffield est
  13. This has to rate as one of the best charters i have been on,due to steves skill and banter.steves first fish on the drift was a gurnard that takes skill to pick one of these in all those cod,i managed to land trevs pollack and bream with the only net with a big hole in it.Tackle losses were light i lost one twin tail and weight after crossed lines , thanks to the instructions from steve.I took home ten fish all consumed . Loads of fish went back alive which i thought was great well done steve. The dolphins at the end made it a fantastic day cheers steve.

  17. Anywhere from bottom of poole high st to the old poole pottery site,i dont think they will let you into fishermans dock,to get on.Parking i would try baiter or any of the multi storys near by i think its dear hay lane, take change with you drop gear off first. You should get a fry up at the bottom of the high st next to poole angling centre, take a football plenty of room on board for a game but you wont get time on this boat .Good luck.
