i have fitted a few over the years and each case you have to go through the menus on your gps and enable the bit that say send to gps or something like that

why not make up a ply base to the same size of the deck and protect the edges with foam pipe wrap.

Thanks for the advise mike sorry for the delay i seem to have lost the connection i dont know what the beam is i guess about 7 ft .I know what you meen about minesweepers i did 5 years with RNR. Many thanks Clive

hi mike she is 25 ft long grp small ply cabin merc 42hp 636 inboard full displacment draws 4ft twin bilge keels quite small and yes she rolls on wet grass but strangly enough takes a head and stern sea very well she has some concrete ballest in between engine bearers cheers mate

i checked it on a nice plastic chart i nicked from ssf before i retired,i did catch baby thornbacks from chapmans pool a few years ago mind you it could have been a fluke or the same fish twice .Do you know anbody who knows any thing about how much ballast a displacement boat should carry ?

I tried mac,squid,blueys and sandeels [frozen] on there own .rag and squid combos for bream .The rays were on eel wrasse on worm.hope that helps. I was about a half a mile off .

nice weather no bream or macs about .Caught two thornbacks 3 pounds each,and two ballen wrasse biggest one ,pound and a half
