Quite day as crew on Imagine with dave,i had a 38lb conger dave had one of 20lb ,few dogs,pout and macs,my conger was on tope ground approx 2 miles of dancing ledge,daves was at dancing ledge,great weather at last cheers dave.

nice day at last,drifting by training bank only small bream,macs seem scarce only half doz,tried out my new CJ capstan ripped my 10kg bruce right out of rocks well pleased ,only dogs and bream at ballard,went to the aid of a 35ft sailing vessel at old harry hour and half to low water managed to pull it off with increasing swell it was a close call he said he wanted close up photos of old harry bit to close if you ask me the german gent gave me a nice 50% bottle of rum ,then saw a small fishing boat drifting by my mooring returned to owner,knot tying course required,then a 2mt draft fishing boat from portsmouth ran aground in north channel asked me how much water where he ,was did not seem happy when i said not enough managed to pull him off as well,also tried out my ace line hauler as well ,any body got any pots they want to sell,back to work at rockly sat i need a rest.,

Firrst job i did when i got my boat ( 25 ft displacement ) was to fit a aux outboard 8 hp mariner self help first. i have towed to many boats in over the years not to take resonable precautions, one i towed 0f the long rocks at xchurch no life jackets no radio no flares shorts and tee shirts no fuel dead battery and only 30ft of anchor rope then they had the cheek to ask as to tow them back to Poole,regards mullet i used to catch them on the mud flats in poole with only a spot light on the bow i liked the golden eyes best i would advise wearing a box if you have low gunnels 5lb mullet in the nuts hurts a bit.
