Thanks for all your kind coments ,if my loss will make others aware that you can insure against this incident it all helps cheers.No flounders or crabs today guess they could not see the worms in the fog.

checked with house insurance and not covered ,if it was in the shed in would be they said it would not be covered while in use ,so all i have to do is get my 25ft boat with 4 1/2 ft draft weights about 5 ton in my 8ft shed and i have cracked it.still if weathers ok i will go out again tomorrow theres at least two pout still out there

Thats the ones paul , thanks zed i will check that out on my home insurance nothing to lose cheers, its strange i have been using these rod holders for years and never had a problem i think i still have one left i think i will throw that in the same direction as my rod and reel .

no insurance im afraid only got one left now ,i think i will have to look at insurance never thought about it before.

went to spoils and lost my penn tqr 100 and 15lb ugly stick over the side,glad i was on my own nobody should see a grow man cry ,put the rod in a rod holder as usual boat turned a bit in the tide and bang rod holder snapped at the base so if any body uses F----n rod holders beware ,all for two pout and seeing the seal swimming round the boat .

:went out to my boat today ,got 18 knots out of rib with new prop not bad for 10hp made my eyes water a bit cant wait to try my 15,fishing slow only one flounder 11 1/2 inches seemed bit quite did not see any body else fishing.

wanted a good short shaft outboard for my rib 15 to 20 hp would be good 10 hp would do good running order ,i dont care if it looks like its done 10 rounds with mike tyson less likely to get nicked cheers.

If any body fishes Evening hill ,off the pier there are at least 10 nets set i suspect they are tramels so you may not see surface floats only only end bouys

I had the ray id at the yacht club later on should have seen the one that got away looked like a barn door at 25 mts ,away how big do they get? i got crossed lines and my braid cut through my 25 pound mono like butter .

Nice day spoil grounds ,4 1/2 pound codling two spotted rays 3lb and 8lb and a 2lb whiting.

I would like some decent weather,so i can go fishing xmas eve xmas day and boxing day big decission this year boat or beach,who said retirement was boring.Caught a nice whiting off mooring monday loads small bass about biggest 3lbs only at night.

sounds right to me my boat only does six knots and it still pulls out .i use huge cable ties about half inch wide

IF you go to Wareham some time look out for a boat called MUSTARD 25ft ish big yellow boat,looks like a offshore racing boat this had a lpg conversion it maybe at ridge or redclyffe for winter it was last time i was up that way before i retired,i had a lpg zafira you lose about 30% power but it was worth it for the savings.

some have drain holes in the bellows outside of the boat to prevent freezing or corrosion ,what make is the leg ?
