Good luck with a trawl Nigel, I had one for two seasons the only thing I caught was tons of weed and baby flatties!!! I tried all times of the day and tides times, they are there but you have to work for them now. They were hammered years ago locally and used in zoos for birds etc, nearly wiped them out. Back in the day, and and and ——- 😩😩

Thanks all, had lots of surprises, trip to Venice on Monday that I didn't know about until Sunday. A surprise Chinese dinner last night with the family cooked by Chinese chefs at home, really good. Great result Lofty on a really chilly day. After being around the guys for six hours or so I have to say they must be tuff cookies to sit there in the conditions. Having the heater on all day and being able to tuck out of the wind felt wimpish, as Mal kept pointing out, but someone had to say close to the radio!! 😂😂 Good to see there was a fair few decent fish landed so a great result for the comp. Keep it going as the guys said they enjoy it. 👍👍🎣🎣
