  1. Looks like I've been sponsored with a fish ID book, waterproof note book and a fishy tape measure!! Use my time after a fishing trip writing longer write ups for the forum instead of filling in the survey!! Sorry guys!! .

    Halibut at 62lb in Norway, the flounders have a way to go!!
  4. Boat out the water having a scrub and polish up, rooms booked, new hinges ordered for coolbox all thats needed now is the weather gods to play ball!! Booked for the 29th April 2 May so lets hope the fish are biting, if the poxy trawlers havent had them all!
  5. The ground around the area must be smashed to bits with the amounts of trawling, but there must be a reason the French are hammering the area. Is it the fish are there to breed, if so the stocks must be being wiped out with this day after day!! There has been continued trawling there for weeks now! Nearly always only French.
  6. In Birmingham today, sunny but cold and the view across the motorways is nothing like that!!! ;(. ;(

  12. Hi Rob You should be safe mooring at Cobb's, usually the only time you have to drain down the raw water side is if you moor on the river with the fresh water as the main source. I have seen core plugs blown on engine blocks when moored on rivers. Personally never had a problem at Cobb's ever. Cheers Chris
