Cracking day by the sounds of it, well done for getting the weather window right.
-
Put the handbags aways boys!! New photo as well Martin, very nice. You must be well chuffed.
-
No question B, straight line from the club house just makes it simple after a pint or two. In fact just on my way and staying on the boat tonight! Well done if all goes well Martin great result for you.
-
That was what Nigel was using for bait the other night for the bream, and tipped with a ragworm snake!!!
-
Hope all ends well for him. High speeds on a new boat so close in, not a lot of time for any errors and it looks a real powerful boat in the pictures.
-
Just to let you know that beauty is still swimming around as Nigel returned it to carry on with its breeding!!
-
Mind that halo doesn't slip Nigel you will never get it off!!
-
Nige, a few more lessons and I reckon you may pick the bream fishing up!! He was awesome tonight with the catch rate and his casting was very good too!! :)
-
Only downside with Mal is when he wears pink is he is usually cutting up bait/dubby or making smelly ground-bait, may have to invest in a new one Mal for "The Great Fishy Cook Off" !!
-
Sounds like a cooking/ baking comp may need planning in, ideal when a fishing comp is blown off!!! Mal could even get his pink pinney on!!
-
Also good for listening to crabbers talking shite all day!!! At least you know the ariel still works when you can hear them! Always good to know you can get a call out all joking apart, important bit of kit.

Just an observation yesterday, we had over 50 bream and all were males, where as last week the same sort of number and a 50/50 split. Are the females laying their eggs and not feeding as last week they were bulging with eggs? Anyone else find the same?

Species Hunt Results - 19th April 2015
Kingfisher 126 replied to Mike Fox's topic in Competition Talk
We had a very similar day, the wind was bitter this morning even some winter warmers we're put on! We had 11 species in total 7 new for this year. I had a dreadful day with 2 species, pout and LSD. A few of each. Lester had a worse day with 1 species, Ballon Wrasse had a couple! Mal had a good day with a steady run of fish once they started. 6 Species. Pout, Whiting, Rock cook wrasse, Goldsinney wrasse, Ballon wrasse and a late plaice. Dogfish never stopped once again 10 species, LSD, Goldsinney, Whiting, Black bream, Tompot blenney, Pout, Pollock, Corkwing, Ballon and Rock cook. Well fished Dave in less than ideal conditions. -
1) Sea Dream - Stuie and crew TBA 2) Kingfisher - Chris, Mal, Lester, Dogfish Dave 3) Marlin - Greg and Brad 4) Reel Bizzy- Kev Jacob Mike George, weather doesn't look that good east north easterly horrible direction Had to get the reserves in once the hit squad were on Reel Bizzy!!
