Just reordered a new pair of boots and these are at half price at the moment. I have used these for a few years now and always have a pair at home and a pair on the boat. really warm and waterproof. Well done both, yet again on comp day we did our bit for conservation!

We joined in both comps and blanked regarding cod! Lots of action but only with doggies, pout and bull huss the best huss around 10lb. Well done Nige and Martin a great result on a boarderline weatherwise day! Good well organised comp and venue by Steve Porter too.

I've got space if anyone is looking to crew, just be aware the last bit of the day may have to be fished over a pint in Cobbs bar if fishing is slow!! Can throw in a turkey curry as well. (if not can be used as ground bait) Crew now sorted.

I've just quickly tried the new chart on the boat this morning and there is so much more detail and they have added so many more wrecks and additional information. You would never be able to fish them all, will be interesting to see if they are there! Just need a poxy weather window to try it out.

New chart came through today so just need to try it out!!!!

I can't do Saturday but ok Sunday.

And if that is her twin sister on the membership card thread that's fine too!!!

Well done lofty a great report, we went passed about that time it was cracking first thing. Soon changed during the later morning and fog where we went for a while.

Hi Neal Sorry I didn't know that there was a trophy already. Nigel would have to get a bigger mantle piece to put them all on if there was more than one!!

Would a possible solution be change it this year for biggest cod caught, as putting a date on it now won't suit everyone. Just an idea may give more members a chance to join in! May be difficult with changing club rules for a one off????

Cracking fish Steve well done. Did our bit for conservation today, Cod 0 Ray 0 Pout, doggies, congers and a whiting! Wet weather gear tested and now drying out!!
