Looking good Adam, looks like you will have alot of stowage available.
The wheelhouse looks huge inside, you've made great use of space.
The kids are enjoying the project too, good to see, what are they like at laying up?
Just imagine the water pressure if you took a pipe off an 1" inlet while you tried to get the stopper in, one serious jet of water and if you dropped it etc a serious problem.
A great idea as an emergency but I would never try to use it as they said!!
Playing with sea cocks is a job for out of the water, always tight and awkward and if the seal is broken onto the skin fitting and hull more problems.
Maybe we could get him out to the bream and bass and Terry's skills could help the breeding / restocking process!!
There's a story!
Well done Trevor looks like a top job you've got.
Hi Lee
If you are not aware.
There is the monthly meeting the first Thursday of each month, well worth getting a chance to put names to faces and get involved.
Its in Parkstone and details are available if you need them.
Also give you chance to see why Jim gets stick about cakes and beer!!
I don't need them either!!!
Welcome Lee,
You have taken the biggest step forward by joining the club, you join in and ask questions always lots of answers around.
Enjoy your new hobby.
Chris
Lots of fishing boats out tonight.
I've also been watching the last couple of nights drift netters working SE of IOW about 20 miles out causing havoc in the westbound shipping lane!
I use Marinetraffic app aswell as vesselfinder, seems to be quicker and simple to get tracks etc, just click on target.
Looking at amount of boats to the east no wounder the fish are struggling!!!
I've watching these and there is the same going on just off Brighton, Newhaven there are around 15 Belgium trawlers working a few miles off shore!!
The ground must be wrecked!! excuse the pun!
I can't do either of the ideal dates only the bank holìday weekend so may have to just go for it and leave the late bank holiday as reserve date.
The tide is making on the first weekend so the last day will be some quick drifting.
I think the last weekend date in April was mentioned as a possible date for presentation dinner.
Will see if crew is available.
As always a comprimise!
Chris
Hi Greg
They are on the large size so good for thick socks no problem on normal sizes.
I personally just wear normal socks, found them too warm with thermal socks.
I'm starting to wish I was on commission!!
