A size 3000 or 4000 is a better size if you're going to be holding the rod all day, it balances better PJ

A front drag is smoother and has a better adjustable range, rear drag are prone to seizing due to corrosion. a bait runner is useful for float and other types of bait fishing PJ

Perhaps this might pave the way for more artificial reefs in Poole bay for Fishing? I doubt it as we arn't as glamourous as surfers PJ

A 6-12lb rod about 8ft A medium heavy spiining rod about 9ft. That should cover most inshore smaller species such as Bass, Bream, Plaice, whiting, wrasse etc PJ
