  1. The main reason for not carrying it anymore was due to the fact i would need two different types of fuel. If you do have an auxilary(best practice) you have to use it fairly often or it wil fail. PJ
  2. Nope PJ
  3. Last trip out while drifting for bait my etec stalled- im a bit concerned as this has never happened before. I went to start it and it took 3 turns of the key to start and then stalled again- now im concerned. started it again ( 3 turns) and i quickly put it in gear and off i went- no problems Stop to drift again and it was the same story. anyway i had i checked out and it turns out i needed new spark plugs so all is well. It just seems strange it just happened out of the blue with no signs of gradual deterioration. I guess im well and truly used to starting first time every time now. I've now done 200 hours so thats 140 since last July PJ

  7. i'll be looking for a lefthander soon for plugging- it might take me some time to get used to but it makes sense to go this way when theres a lot of casting involved. My spinning and fly reels are set up for lefthanded retrieve and im totally comfortable with those PJ

  20. A great weekend although hard work (up at 4am Sat & Sun) but it is a labour of love so im not complaining. I fished Solo on Friday morning and had a Bass of 4lb 6oz- couldn’t fish the evening so no points here. Saturday saw Paul Rowcliffe and I fish a local inshore wreck on Marineboy and then Southbourne Rough. Not much to report here other than a couple of small bass. A zillion pout a few medium size bream and PR’s first ever Garfish. Lovely day Sunday, out West with Gordon on Enticer, beautiful weather and gin clear water (inshore) but things were tough. A small Tope of 10lb was the result of our first anchored mark but its parents didn’t show. We drifted across a well known headland during the slack which included dropping down into a deep hole but this didn’t produce the goods. We ended the day trolling some Joeys close in and ended with a 4lb bass for me and a 3lber for Gordon. Thanks to Gordon for a great day out on a superb boat, with excellent company and dam good catering PJ
