  16. Imknown for leaving kit on other peoples boats so i thought id ask Im missing my favorite filleting knife and may have left in on someones boat. i could also have left it in a million other paces though. It's the best one i've ever owned, it's black handled with a serated section near the handle. It is unique in that it has a hollow taper- it's concaved from the thick part to the cutting edge Heres hoping it didn't just end up over the side PJ
  17. Tom, Looks like you may go belly up along with your floats i admire your tenacity but be careful mate. We may have to send the boys round to hold you hostage at the tackle store until you come out with some proper kit PJ
  18. Tom, i got a stand up Tuna stick with an international 30sw if you need it for the day PJ
  19. Tom, Many thanks, i second Mike's comments PJ
  20. Hi All, a friend's dad has recently died and he has asked me for help to arrange a boat trip. His dad spent all his life on boats and it would be fitting to see him rest in his favorite place, that being the sea. What we need is a boat to go out to Old Harry with 4 people to scatter the ashes and this could be anytime Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday this week. They are happy to pay
  21. The Sea trial went well and boy does it Fly must get everything strapped down, i nearly lost my new club flag as i snapped the tie wraps while in flight. I have to learn how to handle the boat all over again as it's now a different animal completley. Nice afternoon out to Boscombe pier and back and i still had fuel left! PJ
  22. It ran a lot smoother than i was expecting, they didn't even hear it in the house! it purrs PJ
  23. Well after a week and a day since my engine died im up and running again! I managed to pick up a great deal on a 2006 ETEC 60hp with only 60 hours on it and 2 and a bit years left on the warranty. The two dodgy blokes in the photo spent all day today with me doing the install and it's perfect!! It started first go and runs sweetly in the tank. many thanks guys for all your hard work and to the rest of you for your kind thoughts and offers of trips during my down period Still got a few mods to do on the Gauges and stuff but im ready for the sea trail tomorrow and hope to get airbourne! im one very happy chappy- now off to play with my power tilt PJ
