  9. Nice day out today, weather and sea state much nicer than expected but the tide not as big. Kam was excellent company and the perfect crew man even though he outfished me. The day was slow with only the one bass to Kam which went between 4-5lbs, It was a great sight to see Kam doing his Rex Hunt impression: a little short rod held completeley down in the water as the bass took him under the boat and round the bow a couple of times- the Joys of an open boat!, Nicely done Kam! We joined AJ at anchor and scratched out as few bream- loads of Joeys to worm baits and a Gunnard. PJ

  14. Well it's a small step forward and we shouldn't be too disappointed that the 45cm limit wasn't imposed, On one hand it dosn't make sense to have a limit below the breeding size of 42cm but on the other if i had to replace all my fishing gear at once i'd be a bit pissed PJ

    Lost Him

Had a morning drifting the ledge today- only one hook up which screamed a away on the float rod. After an exciting battle the fish was up at the surface 10yards off the stern, it was easily a double- a huge fish! He saw the boat screamed off again cutting right across a buoy, my attempts to back upon it in the tide single handed failed as the braid which was peeling off at speed found a bit that had buried itself in the spool and Ping! it was all over, Althogh gutted it was nice to fight it and to see in the water was heart stopping, I'll be back PJ
  25. Nice one Kaptain PJ
