I have the Lowrance broadband radar rarely used but invaluable when needed.I can see buoys (handy on the ledge) and even seagulls sat on the water but I don't have overlay,I require a fluxgate compass for that. But Rob you don't catch big fish and you defiantly don't use 50lb leader for youre Bass

Just cut down the length of leader to a metre or so then knot doesn't need to go through the eyes when fishing and there is less drag in deep water Nige

A big well done to Mick Pike on second overall and to the funny accented skipper Kev on Yelo who also got one.Hard day with about 9 fish weighed in out of nearly 80 anglers.Stuie also weighed in and Dave on WM found his crew one(non member)it was a lovely day to be on the water.
