I drove down Saturday and Monday evening to meet friends at the wsf meet and there were only 6 boats at its busiest time .Fishing was slow and the weather poor so most have gone home again.

While fishing Sunday I observed 3 boats that had a poor anchor set up and ended up cutting their rodes/ropes.Touch wood I've never had too and would strongly advise that if any of these boats are club members to ask about correct anchor set up.
One boat a aquafish really did make a hash up of it and were very lucky a crew member wasn't hurt.
If anybody would like an evening trip out to be shown on their boat just drop me a PM and I will happily run through it with them as I did with Wishin when I sold her

Malcolm you're firm do a flush pump kit that cleans all the fuel through various filters, I have a small camera at work u can borrow that we use for looking into cylinders for piston damage without taking heads off

Only time I've known of a similar problem was when a friend used my reel and tried to adjust the drag tension without moving the lever to the off position, after that it wouldn't free spool.Dave fixed it.
