Just like to say many thanks to Adam and crew for letting us tag along to the wrecks. We also had a good day despite the lumpy sea and estimated 8 foot swells going through. Kev,s son Ben had said he was going to thrash us both..........and he did !!!!!!!! It was amazing to see him bring the fish up with a fixed spool reel on Kev,s shiny red rod, put a good bend in it................. We all lost some decent fish, but they were real finnicky takes, I ended up hooking 2 fish in the head, no wonder they fought well????????????? Anyway, thanks to Kev and Ben for coming along , and pot watching for me ............ MICK

Heard you guys having a chat on 6 today, the fishing was slow where I was too. Few doggies and 4 female bream which were all put back , came in about 1.30 wind was starting to pick up.

Hamworthy was 99.8p a litre last week.

Charlie & Nige, Thanks for the input guys, both of you said about the lowrance hds10, this is the one I was thinking about myself . At present I have 2 x 5 inch lowrance ( globalmap 3500c & x 102c ) which are now obsolete, so may go for bigger screen so I can see it easier !!!!. We were in the CAR PARK and heard you guys on 6. Managed 1 cod of 14lb plus, 1 bass of 4lb, whiting up to 2lb and some pout, but the sea was REAL LUMPY. Only managed to drink one cuppa as the cups kept falling over. MICK

I Know you told me you had a big one...... but thats a MONSTER!!!!!!!!! Well done nige. We had 2 , both around 7 pound, some whiting and loads of pout. . Awaiting pics. MICK
