Was rebuilt by a car mechanic, as its a car engine tbf.so no knowledge of a bowman. But obviously the lies about the block being warped have came out. Will sort the bowman and pressure test it. Its a huge 360 degree crack, so it poored out of the crack/exhaust once i bunged the other holes in tank. Im hoping this is the isolated problem.

They are coming out mate, although i don't/never will have faith in them. After loads more reading tonight. The fact that 2 businesses have rebuilt this in 6 months, both times the same problem happend. I reckon theres gna be a hole in the sealed bowman/coolant header tank. The coolant dumped out the exhaust and in sump, once it was near full. so due to the previous lack of research by the trained mechanics, i can see my money being waisted.

Well since my boat came off the mooring, the bad luck has continued. Engine dumped coolant in oil , out @ xchurch last year (this after having the head gasket just replaced) Soooo, engine out again. This time diagnosed warped block, So ££££'s later, its handed back to me fully rebuilt again, i fill up the coolant tank. And it dumps straight in the piston pots and sump with out even getting to start it. They clearly didn't even bother pressure testing after the thousands i handed over. Apart from a cracked head, Could the water pump or oil cooler be faulty. Or would it need to be running for these to dump water in the sump. ??? Diesel Volvo tamd22 / perkins prima 80t. Hi nige. Theres a lip infront of it unfortunatly. So the only way it can come out is via pulling i think :-/ hope tht makes sense.

Dolphin sands is full of them.. Or atleast it was a month ago.. But there only up to 10lb id say. By the time the flapper hit the seabed, it was tope on lol.

Hi lads.. Out fishing at the ledge. And the rebuilt engine has blown a gasket. Rnli have towed us to mudeford on a mooring. But having no trailer and nowhere to put a auxiliary, were stuck lol.. Is anyone willing for money of course, to one day asap tow us back to poole harbour. Vessel is a 625 ocqueteau Cheers jamie.
