Last year we had a few enthusiastic youngsters join some boats to fish. This year we are doing the same thing, fish anytime as often as you like throughout August, juniors who are not members there is a £5.00 joining fee to include a good bag with some bits and pieces supplied by Andy at PSA, prizes for biggest specimen %, numbers of species and a trophy for the overall winner. Some tackle prizes to be won, and hopefully a Pizza party at Cobbs late August, early September for all juniors that enter. PLEASE lets have some write ups and photos when you do get out. Also in a months time we have our annual Species Competition on the 27th-28th July i will add a reminder nearer the time, lets hope this better summer weather continues. Tight Lines Jerry

Completely agree, thanks for posting Steve. I am pretty dissapointed however with Angling Trust, as i have tried to join in with two of there surveys, both have just collapsed at the end. I know as a club its been suggested we could send information regards catches, measurements etc fish killed. To support RSA has this come to anything yet? I hope the rain has stopped and wind dropped! Its lovely in Sri Lanka but the fishing is slow!!!!

Competitions will be run in a similar vain to last year, with a Species Comp, a Specimen Comp and the Christmas Flounder Comp, the most important thing is to register your catches with the fish recorder and these will be put forward for the annual trophies. Junior Comp is still under discussion. Species Comp 27th-28th July Specimen Comp 17th-18th August Flounder Comp 14th-15th December

I may well have space, it just depends on crews work load, watch this space. Great idea posting last years trip Charlie.
