That is quite an untidy set of charts Charlie. It's no wonder why they can't quite make up their minds what is really going to happen. Was "chatting" with Adam on Facebook and he was thinking of going Thursday as planned, fishing Friday and then taking a view as Saturday and Sunday look less predictable. I don't think that would be on for those of us aboard Mrs Sea in that we won't even be arriving in Braye until about 22.00 on Thursday after an evening crossing from Hayling Island. That would leave just Friday to fish with nothing sure for the weekend. Only one day fishing suggests to me we may as well fish over this side instead. It's a long way for that. I still have (fading) hope that we will see it settle nicely for the weekend too, but coming home in Northerly 5s will be wet and umcomfortable.

Agreed Adam It will be a very bouncy ride going over and not enormously pleasant fishing in 4s kissing 5s with predominantly west in it. Pray to the weather gods that five to ten knots drops off the current predictions for fabulous fishing conditions.

Hi Neal Not officially, but I feel sure it could be cut out with a set of snips? Think of the cabinet rather like a sports locker cabinet, it's that type of thing. It will definitely screw / bolt securely to a wall. Height wise, it is fractionally taller than me overall, hence my guess of 6' (no smart @rse comments about me being vertically challenged please!). With the shelf in place the inside height will be a tad over 5'. Tom

Way up in the dingiest part of my loft, covered in spiders webs and screwed to the rafters was a gun cabinet. I'd never paid much attention to it until recently with the exception that I was very aware that gun cabinets screwed to rafters wouldn't pass current FAC checks. Anyway, one of the club members was recently interested in buying it and so I went and got it down from the loft. It's all very serviceable, but clearly rather old. It is made by Bisley and has a single "key" lock with the key, plus a fitted slot for a padlock and a further properly fitted (rivetted) heavy duty hasp and staple. It also has a large top shelf for ammunition etc. It is BIG, standing 6 feet tall and being approximately 18" deep and 1' wide. There is a length of foam running from over the base of the cabinet and up the back. Leaning against the back of the cabinet you should easily be able to store 5 rifles with scopes. I have recently been told that even non FAC air rifles should be securely stored away from the dangers of theft or children. This cabinet would be perfect for general safe storage of air rifles, but I suspect it isn't up to shotgun or FAC requirements as it simply isn't heavy duty enough. Think more, tough filing cabinet than 2mm thick gun cabinet. Anyone who fancies a tall and large cabinet ideal for safely storing air rifles or other tall objects that require safe storage then please come and take this away for

Just for info, but I suspect that Tom (p) Chris (p) is meant to be myself and Chris. Chris is not coming, but I am hoping to with Greg on Mrs Sea. I've already put my choice down. If this is a different Tom and Chris... sorry.

Hi Guys If anyone has some space that they don't use and fancy making a fair rent from then I am looking for up to one acre (ideally 0.6, but anything to get started) of basic rough land. No water, electricity or light needed, just space. Rough Paddock, set aside, pasture, hard standing, cleared industrial land... if it is possible for a 4x4 to traverse it then I am very interested in renting it from you. This is for a small business idea, not a change of jobs, just something I can run on the side. Alternative to rent, I would consider a profit share type arrangement too which may end up more lucrative pure rental. Cheers Tom

Got mine Secured from a very helpful forum member. Most pleased. Brian, for the record, I do have one from the previous tenant of the property I rent. Oddly, it is bolted to the rafters in my loft space. It is an empty cabinet (no padding) with a smalish top shelf and at a guess will take three rifles with scopes or four shotguns. I am sure padding could easily be fitted as required. I know nothing about the cabinet apart from it is solid. Yours for

It's even more important you all vote as I have just realised that the guy currently in second is actually a professional photographer (Adam Godfrey Photography). Vote for me PLEASE! -

Hey guys I have no idea when voting ends for this, but I am sitting in 1st and 3rd so anyone who hasn't yet cast their vote, please do. My pics are number 3 and number 23 in the list. Just for the record the cop wasn't specifically about "boat photos", but about photos taken from a boat. And for the record I did actually submit several of the boaty ones from our club jaunts... they unfortunately weren't short listed... I think my Marlin pics were taken as a token gesture to the boat anglers out there. It would be great if they were up at the top simply to show them that there are plenty of us and we aren't a boating minority. Keep voting! Thanks Tom -

Drat, I forgot the picture of Abode! Guys, please keep voting if you haven't done so yet. Currently in 1st and 2nd place, but I don't know when the comp closes. It's great to see angling pics doing well in a competition that is dominated by sailing photos so please keep voting away!!! Pics 3 and 23 for those who are struggling to find them! Thank you! http://www.ybw.com/pictures/motorboats/boa...ed-by-boat2boat -
