  9. congratulations on a first class job, i imagine saturday morning might be a strange feeling looking out the bedroom window at a long lost garden. all the best for the launch, andy
  10. no cod on lady jane either, we spent the first part of the day trying for bass and then anchored up to the west of neo to try for the cod and whiting.no fish were landed after about one so at three we decided to go home. no dogfish for a change a dozen small bass just over twenty whiting which mainly came from a busy half hour period. we were not in the comp so were using two rods. cheers andy
  11. sorry about lack of info, ebbing tide, three squid for bait, we had about a dozen whiting and the normal pouting with dogfish, my crew mate dave landed a starry of about five pounds. just the one bass. cheers andy
  12. 18 1/2 15 1/2 and one at about 2 llb my best result so far form the car park ! http://www.pbsbac.co.uk/photoalbum/albums/...al_Image018.jpg
  13. rich thanks for that ill keep it in mind for next week, do i take it that you would need to fish night time for those sole ! cheers andy
  14. photo hopefully
  15. first id like to thank the two club members that gave me my back up plan at lepe. a late launch from lymington had us on our way at nine oclock even at this time the visability was not the best. anchor down in what is normally a car park, this time just one other boat in the distance. out go three rods and the action is none stop with dog fish, monster pouting and the first cod of the season at about 10.5 llb. (no whiting) with eight pound of squid now gone and the time at one o clock its time for a change of plan so its up anchor and a few drifts in the sunshine, the plan works and we manage nine bass to four pounds and by three o clock we are on our way in. cheers andy

  24. thanks for that james, it was interesting listening to the potting guys early friday am they were unhappy with the results that they were getting and commented that it appeared that the sea life had gone to sleep! cheers andy
  25. unfortunately the sole fishing proved to be hard work for us, i think this might be down to the slight northerly and small tides kept the boat on the move all the time. i would be interested in any views on this! about 2-00 of to the ledge,6-30 of to the needles,,10-30 of to the banks for some ray, 2-00 home time. 19 hrs fishing lots of fish and a good time. cheers andy
