That was a beautiful day for a dangle, but a day of two halves. A quick call to Chris as we came through the chain link to see what was going down. A reply there was fish being caught so over to keep him company, hook in and pout city every drop pout pout and more pout. Decided to have a crack at a small eyed so hook down and bang all four rods going at ones 3 out the four were starry smooths a foot long and inch round little with a big bit, any way the bites never stopped Ray after Ray and more Ray's frisky drifted along side us showing his big squid, he anchored next to us and was into Ray's from the off. Gave Chris a ring to get in here and he was into the mix straight away, it made a poor morning into a fantastic afternoon session You don't get many flat seas like that this time of the year we ended up 10lb blonde to me Jacob spotted just over 3 lb small eyed around 8 lbs and undulates upto 9 lb Thanks Chris for the crab and rich for the pollack they made a nice meal Roll on the next trip Kev and Jacob

Well done Charlie and crew, myself and number 1 crew Jacob came down last night for an early start. The wind was blowing hard all night so not to early a start so had a bash with the mullet for an hour, that was hard going 6 to 10 chasing the bait but no takes. Rich and Emma turns up and couldn't believe the amount of fish there, with that the brave one took the bait Jacob shouts fish on I grabbed the net and bingo first mullet of the season, and all this with a live audience. After all that fun we set of down harbour no speed limits the bath boys ripping up the harbour at 20 knots. sweet Popped out through the chain link and boy there were some unsettled water. about turn to the castle bang wrasse up to 3 lb then moved up harbour for some long drifts, there are shoals of bass around at a pound a piece we must of had 30 plus then the herring made an appearance Jacob bagged up with the beauty's we must of had two dozen, plus lots of scad and a loan gilt head first time I've ever seen or caught one, come to that I've never caught herring before. After a crap forecast the day shone for us, a couple of happy chap's

Nice report Chris Must admit the fishing was a bit slow, but it was a lovely day to be out there And we got some nice fish for the table what more can you ask for And we had great laugh along the way, thanks for the invite and it was nice to meet Andrew and give him a bit stick. Had a little run out on Reel Bizzy today the bay is full of tub gurnards, they are every where. It was ok first thing but blew up mid morning, still a good weekend had.. shame about the rugby Kev

Well you weren't wrong there Neal We came back in the harbour still white horses Good to be out anyway, even if you did get thrown about Jacob. Bass 1 lb 2 oz and released Plaice 1lb 1 oz Kev Plaice 15 oz But I did have a 2 lb 2 oz tub gurnard

Nice pics Chris thanks for another top day, I've never seen so many small eyed come out. What was strange that they never give a bite just pulled the the rod straight over almost pulling the rods in. Well done Sam for all the hard work, and well done to all the juniors taking part they all seemed to enjoy it. Looking for ward to next year. I hope the dates don't clash with are Norway trip??? Jacob and Grandad
