Hi guys. I will be dry stacking at cobbs if i can get there before the Olympics officially start. Dont have a trailer to do the road trip so if i cant get to cobbs i will have to leave at Portland for the duration. Mind you i will get 15% discount off my mooring fees for the year though. Cheers

Well the Olympics are here at Portland and i need to get my boat to cobbs quay possibly this saturday. Just wondering how long the trip would take in my Warrior 165 . Would i be right or wrong if i was to plan to get to Poole harbour about 30 mins to an hour before HW at approx 10.30am so to miss the ebb tide against wind at peverill ledge . Or am i completely wrong ? Thanks guys

Hi All. Just thought i'd post a picture of me ( with big smile ) and my new warrior 165 . Boat is called Great Escape and is dry stacked at Portland. Just sorting out the usual stuff ,running in gently..and had a major sea trial on wednesday which it handled with ease even though it was pretty rough around the Bill. Really too rough for captain and crew as my mate Derek came home battered and bruised after smacking his shin . We sat in the south entrance where i decided to play about with the fishfinder and as luck had it Derek pulled in a couple of Pollock on feathers ( jammy sod ) . Take care all . cant wait to get out again...

Hi Martin, I'm good thanks . Still got the boat but have had her up for sale for quite some time due to the lack of usage and trying to get my mini digging business more established, so i haven't had the time to enjoy her and we certainly haven't had the weather. Have decided to keep her now though and will be lifting her out on monday for anti fouling etc and to prepare for the coming fishy season. Jimbo and i will hopefully be coming to the meeting on Thursday to show we're still willing and hanging in there. See u soon .. Pegleg

So glad that i was given the choice of whether i wanted to go out or not on a small charter boat by Brett of jurassic fishing out of Weymouth on thursday.......He said that we might get a few hours in before the wind picked up but to be honest it was going to be a bit lumpy for my liking so i declined.......Luckily.
