Sam
Congratulation on reaching your 21st how did you manage that
Many happy returns and think of your head whilst slurping ale and stuff
Have a goodun

It just goes to show that we should all be ready just in case something untoward happens. That boat would not of taken much more tide up the stern before going under, I wonder did the chap have a suitable knife at the ready? always easy with hind site but its also good to learn from others experience instead of our own
Well done to SLB I just hope I never need their assistance but it's good to know they are there just in case! now where's me small change for the collection box
Martin
Looks like "AWOL" will be making the trip over to Alderney but not Cherbourg. All that needs to happen to allow it is for Dean to get the friday off of work.
Lets hope for better weather than the last trip as we will be sleeping on the boat this time
Martin
Well done on trying Mike and for letting us know where not to go. Thats what reports are all about, both the good and the not so good, they all convey information
Sounds like a good effort from Carol & George though
Cheers
Martin
Peter
Well done on making the trip in the not to clever conditions
To say I was impressed by the way Free Boys handled the conditions would be an understatement she's a brilliant safe looking craft.
See you in Alderney next time? 48 hour comp?
Martin
Glad to hear that Matt & Peter We did try calling you a time or two after you left us but you must have either been out of radio range or fallen asleep probably not the last suggestion
Martin
I managed a few hours kip Martin!!!!
Must be Adam's smooth driving
You must of had your washing line with you
Martin
Hi Martin a big welcome to the souths best small boat angling club.
Join in the activities and the banter and you will get out more than you put in, I do and I have been a member for 19 years or so and still love it.

Your like a bunch of kids totally over excited as if you've been on the food colourants and I'm not yeh right
Just phoned the boatyard and booked "AWOL" onto the water tonight for a bright start tomorrow bring it on
Martin
Peter looking back through your posts I note you have an AIS receiver. Awol has an AIS transceiver so keep an eye out for us on your unit and if you see us call us.
Martin
Peter
If you go what time would you leave?
I ask so that we can pair you up with the boats most likely to be crossing at that time and arrange boat names to call. Although that said I believe most boats from this end are leaving between 7-8am
Alternatively call up "any Poole Bay Small Boat" thats a general call we use to see who's out.
Martin
Brian I don't think 8 bream between a boats crew would be considered a lot of fish so I would guess Pete's comments are not directed at Derek but more a general statement regarding some that do take excess numbers of fish.
Martin
Looks like we may be fishing the Bream comp after all
I will leave my call until weds. Dead keen to go especially due to a family wedding I cannot make the reserve date ....... and no its not Dean
Next date for us would have to be the 48hour comp
