It is mostly due to our site being popular and others wanting to have their details associated with our site. This gives them more coverage with search engines (google, msn, yahoo etc) which in turn puts them higher up the pecking order with those engines and can mean more hits except that Paul D and I delete them as they come on.
It is quite easy to detect the cheats as they have little content in their remarks and what there is is vague. The websites that they are attached to are usually sexual in content. I wouldnt click on their sites as you can pick up some nasties ie PC viral infections
