I have the same arrangement as Graham but also have 2 small tube heaters for under the engines. The dehumidifier is on all the time as it turns itself on and off depending on humidity the heaters are only put on in really cold conditions

We had it left over on an oak floor job we did and it left a superb finish. They specify for internal use on new or previously treated timber floors. it is an oil based product so should in theory be ok for external use but would be your call whether to use or not.
